One of my favorite clients is Fuzión Dance Artists. The main reason being, they allow me a lot of creative freedom (which can be hard to come by in the graphic design world) and I have the privilege of working with some great photographers which makes my job a lot easier. Beautiful photos can make a world of difference – they have the ability to turn a ho-hum design into a showstopper. With the aid of a talented graphic designer (ahem) the final printed piece has the potential to stop you in your tracks and hopefully entice you to visit their website to learn more about them and their event(s). Fuzión has been growing and evolving a lot lately – soon to be changing their name and logo, so stay tuned for that!
The piece I’m featuring here is an evite for a local publication, SRQ Magazine. The design process starts with the client emailing me the specs, text and photos and then I take it from there, coming up with a few concepts for the client to choose from. Different layout, font options and/or colors are presented. Based off the evite design, a full page print ad will be next on the agenda.
Working with a client who provides top notch content, photos and a clear vision makes for a gratifying experience and a successful end product.
